For years I have played and created music of different kinds. I hated computers and thought their use in the music industry was despicable and degraded the content they were imaging. Well, times have changed.

I still write music, although I rarely perform live. I have also gained a great amount of computer knowledge, so much so that I work within the IT industry to provide the main stream of support for my family. I remember starting to think that computers could be used to record demos and ideas and that I should get involved with them. By purchasing a PC second hand off a friend, I was able to learn about them by breaking them and getting them working again. And it's a good thing that I did as PC recording is much more income friendly than it ever has been before. I haven't played a gig with a live band for some time now, even though I have just joined a new band! I was holidaying in Greece, floating in the water when it hit me! The music that I had been creating was good music and was perfect for film or some other form of medium that needed to convey mood. I was a 'struggling artist' and so are a lot of underground film makers. They have more budget concerns to worry about than I ever will to fulfill my chosen profession and finding available music at the right price must be close to a nightmare! Why don't I offer my music to these brothers and sisters in arms? So here we are. CAMSOWN.com. At present my work has an atmospheric sci-fi or horror quality to it...but who's to say where it will all lead.
